Supervising Senior Caseworker (Bristol)

Kate is a fee earner within the firm.
Areas of legal practice: Kate graduated from Sussex University in 2009 and went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Law in 2013. She has a varied and complex caseload with experience ranging from initial applications, to matters before the Immigration and Asylum Chamber (First-tier and Upper-tier Tribunal). She has a particular interest in family-based immigration applications and EU law.
Kate specialises in the field of immigration and asylum law. Kate’s main place of work is the Bristol Office.

Grace Burns

Senior Caseworker (Bristol)

Grace is a fee earner within the firm.
Areas of legal practice: She has a Master’s Degree in International Human Rights Law and Practice from the University of York Centre for Human Rights, and has been an accredited Immigration and Asylum Caseworker since 2018. Prior to that she worked in the field of refugee rights advocacy and as a paralegal in the immigration and asylum field.
Her main place of work is the Bristol Office.
Grace joined Albany Solicitors in October 2019.

Chika Nwamuo

Senior Caseworker (Cardiff)

Chika is a Fee Earner within the firm.
Areas of legal practice: Chika specialises in the field of immigration and asylum law. He has Experience in handling of a wide range of immigration, asylum and human rights matters. These include both publicly funded and private cases. Matters involving statelessness, victims of trafficking and modern slavery, appealing asylum decisions at both the First Tier and Upper Tribunal, family reunion, outside of the rules Article 8 arguments, Fresh claims, Spouse Visa application, ECF application to legal aid and citizenship application.

His main place of work is the Cardiff Office. Chika joined Albany Solicitors in January 2020, having worked for his previous employer within Immigration.

Anne is the Office Manager. Anne Joined the Firm in April 2011, having previously worked as an Office Manager.

Sarah is the Accounts / Finance. Sarah took up the role in accounts in September 2018, having previously worked as a Caseworker at Albany Solicitors for 11 years.
